Gail Walker
REPTILE LIASON
Gail moverd to New Jersey With her cats and two adult iguanas. Once here, she adopted ferrets from Merroferret. Gail was already working on rescuing and placing reptiles and added ferrets (and other critters) to her goal. Gail founded Scales and Tails, Inc with Patty and a few others. Throughout her time of running the shelter, 100s of ferrets, iguanas, bearded dragons, snakes, and other creatures were rescued and placed in homes. These included water monitors, mink, a yellow anaconda, fennec foxes, hedgehogs, and many others. After Gail stepped down, the shelter continued, though she has remained a part of Scales and Tails with reptile fostering and care, and taking care of ferrets as needed.
